EVE Energy (亿纬锂能) was founded in 2001 in Huizhou, Guangdong, and listed on the Shenzhen ChiNext board in 2009 (stock code 300014). It describes itself as a full-scenario lithium battery platform covering consumer batteries, power batteries and energy-storage batteries.

Market position

• No.2 worldwide in energy-storage cell shipments, according to InfoLink as cited by EVE.
• Primary lithium batteries ranked No.1 in China by sales and exports for eight consecutive years, with customers in more than 80 countries (EVE brochure).
• More than 2.2 billion cylindrical cells supplied, serving leading power-tool, garden-tool, e-two-wheeler, vacuum and portable-storage brands (EVE brochure).
• ER batteries and SPC battery capacitors selected as China manufacturing single-champion products (evemall.eu).

Research and development

EVE's website lists more than 6,500 R&D staff, more than 16,000 patent applications, R&D investment of about 6% of revenue and contributions to more than 100 industry standards.

Global manufacturing
